Knowledge
To know the answer, first you must lose yourself in the question
People like to draw straight lines. They fit a net over the world to measure longitude and latitude. But the world is wiggly, slippery and not to be measured or confined. If the markets are your world then how can you even begin to find solutions if your yardstick is confined to daily data. You wouldn't even think about measuring a straight line with a ruler that doesn't mark fractions of an inch... Even people who are testing out intra-day systems using daily price points on End-of-Day data should beware because of the adverse effects of data slippage. |
