Compression Software Overview | Compression Software | Contracts | Database | Intra-Day Futures Knowledge | Updates | Pricing | Intra-Day Free Sample Here is a screenshot of the Compression Software Scroll down for a brief description:   The compression software allows the user to compress from the 1 minute database into any timeframe.  The 1 minute data is supplied as continuous back-adjusted streams, in this fashion the user need not worry about the irksome task of knitting the whole streams together from actual contracts.  Because market session opening times are sure to differ, the trader needs to have the option of extracting the total portfolio of instruments "in phase".  This means that if the trader was analysing 5 minute bars, all the timestamps from all the instruments would be synchronised at the same 5 minute pulse.  In this way the opening data is never chopped off, which can be the bane of using other intra-day suppliers.  Of course, the trader has the option of a raw extraction.  Please read the section Intra-Day Futures Knowledge for more information on this analysis technique.
