Maddock Forex Software

Maddock Forex Software allows the user to update their end of day Forex database. The service covers 39 currency pairs as well as their "flips" or inverses. Inverses are important as from a testing perspective, using say the USD as the base currency in the pair, means that test results will not necessarily have to be converted back to the base currency as there are more options open to the trader/tester in backtesting. You can choose to install the forex history in "MetaStock" format, "text" format or both. Having installed in both formats, you can choose to stop updating either format at a later stage. The "text" format database can be configured to suit your needs with various delimiter and date display options.

Maddock Charts

The Maddock Forex data is displayed using Maddock Charts software (supplied with your Forex subscription) which allows the user to utilise the following indicators:

Volume

Moving Averages (up to 5 at once, simple and/or exponential)

Bollinger Bands(can display using decimals e.g. 1.7)

Parabolic SAR

Linear Regression

MACD Oscillator

RSI

Stochastic Oscillator

Williams %R

Momentum Oscillator

ATR ( Turtles N )

On Balance Volume

Directional Movement

Maddock Charts allows the user to see a cross section of instruments across all the Maddock Data International range. You can therefore monitor Forex, futures and stocks displayed in different "Libraries" at the same time if you are trading or testing across an instrument diversified portfolio.
